JigSpace uses role-based access control to manage what a user can see or do when using the applications.
Role types
Creator
Creators can create, edit, view, and present Jigs. They can also upload 3D models to the shared team library, and collaborate on other Jigs in their team that have been shared with them 1:1 or with the whole team. In your team they might have positions like designers, engineers, teachers, or other subject matter experts.
Presenter
Presenters are read-only users. They can only view and present Jigs that are shared with them in the Jig apps. They can view private Jigs that are shared with them, and use premium features like offline viewing mode. They are typically in sales or training positions, or set up at trade shows and retail locations on shared devices.
Team admin
Team admin users are the first user in a team, and have the highest level of permission. They can add and remove users, create and manage content regardless of who owns the content, and see Jigs owned by anyone in the team, even if they are not shared with the team. They can view analytics and transfer Jigs between team members or even other teams if they are in those teams.
Extra permissions:
- Team manager: This permission is being deprecated, and has been replaced by Team Admin role.
- Billing contact: The person we invoice monthly or yearly and approves changes to subscriptions.
