When you integrate your SolidWorks files with JigSpace we import and convert the parametric data to meshes which are appropriate for real-time rendering, as well as import mesh size and scale properties, part names, RGB colors, mesh origin or pivot points and the assembly hierarchy. What file formats are supported that can be exported from SolidWorks?

JigSpace supports importing native SolidWorks assembly files (.SLDASM), part files (.SLDPRT) as well as neutral formats .STEP and .GLTF. Due to its reliability for data interchange and optimization, we recommend using STEP file wherever possible.
