What data is imported into JigSpace from my OnShape projects?

When you integrate your OnShape files with JigSpace we import and convert the parametric data to meshes which are appropriate for real-time rendering, as well as import mesh size and scale properties, part names, RGB colors, mesh origin or pivot points and the assembly hierarchy. JigSpace supports the standard STEP file neutral formats for parametric CAD, as well as glTF files. Due to its reliability for data interchange and optimization in parametric files, we recommend exporting assemblies to STEP files from OnShape.
